These are colored 3D interior decals in 1:35 scale for a model of the Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft system, known in the West as the SA-22 Greyhound. It is not a kit or a resin set - the decals are applied to the plastic interior parts and replace their flat or merely suggested details with a finished colored rendering. Importantly, this set is cut for the Trumpeter kit. The kit and paints are not included in the package.
The Pantsir-S1 is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft system combining radar equipment, guided missiles and rapid-fire cannons on a single carrier. The vehicle is built on a heavy wheeled chassis carrying a rotating section with the armament and the antennas. Models in 1:35 scale usually have a carefully worked cab and crew stations, but the plastic details are flat and telling them apart by color takes a lot of work with a brush - and that is exactly the situation this decal set aims at.
First paint the interior parts and let them dry thoroughly, then spray them with a gloss varnish - the decal has no adhesive layer of its own and holds precisely on the gloss. Soak it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water, wait until it releases from the backing paper, slide it into place with a soft brush and blot the excess water away with a tissue. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer: their chemistry attacks the printed resin and destroys the part; on intricate surfaces a drop of cyanoacrylate glue will help. At the end, even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, so that the edges of the carrier film do not show. Finish everything before you close the cab up.
This is an add-on decal set, not a model. The base kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
