A fine photo-etched set of color pre-printed seat belts from the Polish maker Yahu Models in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a detailing accessory for the cockpit of plastic models of Soviet Polikarpov aircraft. The belts are pre-printed and ready to be shaped and stuck down straight away.
The Polikarpov design bureau was behind a range of Soviet aircraft of the interwar period and the Second World War, among them the I-15 biplane and the I-16 monoplane. Faithful seat belts in the seat bring out an otherwise empty cockpit, which is clearly visible even in the small 1:72 scale.
The pre-printed belts are carefully shaped into the seat and fixed with the tiniest drop of cyanoacrylate. Work with fine tweezers and degrease the surfaces before gluing. Thanks to the pre-printed coloring, there is no painting of the belts to do.
This is a detailing accessory, not a model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
