Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the early British jet fighter de Havilland DH-100 Vampire F Mk.3 in 1:32 scale from Infinity Models. It is a newer tooling in a large scale; the box contains decals for several RAF aircraft and clear build instructions.
After the Gloster Meteor, the Vampire was the second jet fighter of the RAF and the first with a single jet engine. Its characteristic feature was the twin-boom layout with a short nacelle and tail booms. The F Mk.3 version increased the range and revised the tail surfaces; it served at the end of the 1940s.
Finish and paint the detailed cockpit before you close the nacelle, and mask the extensive canopy glazing. In a large scale it pays to dry-fit the parts carefully. The metal surfaces of early jets are brought out by metallic paints — stir them well and apply them to a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
