An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Krupp Protze 6x4 light truck in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The set contains a finely detailed chassis, load area and accessories; figures and decals are usually included as well. The model is built by gluing plastic parts and is intended to be painted.
The Krupp Protze was a German light truck with 6x4 drive, used by the German army above all in the opening phases of the Second World War. It served to tow artillery and to carry personnel and materiel. Thanks to its air-cooled engine and the characteristic shape of its nose it earned a nickname among the soldiers.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the interior before you close up the body. Use liquid polystyrene cement and dry-fit the parts to check them. Apply a primer and spray the base coat with an airbrush; dust and mud effects on the running gear are finished with washes and pigments. The open load area offers room for accessories and cargo.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
