The Amodel An-14 Clod in 1:72 scale is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet light transport aircraft with short takeoff and landing ability.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Soviet Antonov An-14 light twin-engine transport aircraft in 1:72 scale from Amodel. The kit is a typical short-run model with finely engraved surface detail; it is injection-molded plastic that calls for more careful assembly and cleanup of the parts.
The Antonov An-14 (nicknamed Pchelka, meaning little bee; NATO code Clod) is a Soviet light utility aircraft that first flew in 1958. It was designed as a successor to the An-2 biplane, with the emphasis on short takeoff and landing and on operating from unpaved strips. It found use in transport, liaison and agricultural roles.
As with short-run kits, dry-fit the parts first and work the joints carefully. Use a thin plastic cement, and glue the cockpit glazing with cyanoacrylate or a special adhesive for clear parts. Even the surface out with a primer and apply the paint with an airbrush for a uniform result.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
