A British wicker seat with a full back 1:72, the low as well as the tall form without a leather pad, is a resin accessory for the cockpit, not a kit of an aircraft. It replaces the coarse plastic part with a fine casting.

A resin interior accessory for the small scale. The set brings the bare wicker seat without a leather pad, with a full unpierced back, and that in the low as well as the tall form. It is not a model of an airplane but a replacement for the part from the kit.
In 1:72 scale the seat in a plastic kit tends to be cast in a simplified way, sometimes even as a mere bowl without any structure, because a mold can no longer manage a fine weave on such a small area. The resin casting is richer by precisely this structure: even in the small scale it has suggested wicker and thinner walls, so the seat does not come across as a solid block of material. Under a primer and light shading the difference stands out even inside a closed fuselage.
A part in this scale is so small that the main enemy is not the glue but your own movement. Work over a light surface with a rim, for example over the lid of a box, so that a part that flies off does not end up on the carpet. Carry the casting with tweezers with flat jaws, not pointed ones. Do the cutting and the sanding so that the part lies on a surface and is not held by your fingers alone. Once the casting block is cut off, wash the seat again, as sanding dust clings in the structure while it is wet.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The parts are supplied unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
