A set of wicker seats of British aircraft in 1:72 scale with a pierced back. It includes two forms: the lower one with a smaller leather pad and the higher one with a bigger pad.
Responsibility details are not available.
Woven wicker seats belonged to the light equipment of British aircraft. The back usually had a pierced pattern and its top edge was protected by a leather pad, which the pilot leaned his back and head against. A weave has a completely different structure from the sheet metal or the tubular frame around it, so even in a small scale it gives away at once that someone looked into the cockpit attentively.
The set includes two forms of the same seat: the lower one with a smaller leather pad and the higher one with a bigger pad. They therefore differ in the height of the back as well as in the size of the pad, so you can choose the shape that matches your machine. The parts are intended for the cockpit of a model in 1:72 scale.
Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down carefully, so that the weave is not damaged. The parts are not polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Wash and degrease them before painting. The weave looks best when you apply a darker, saturated coat over the base shade and once it has dried take it off the high points with a dry brush; the structure of the wicker stands out that way. Tell the leather pad apart with a different shade and a fine sheen. The particular procedure for preparing the parts is stated by the manufacturer's instructions.
The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery unless stated otherwise.
