Tank killer in close combat no. 2 is a resin figure in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART, depicting a German soldier ready to attack an armored vehicle at close range.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single resin figure of a German soldier in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It captures a so-called panzerknacker, that is, an infantryman attacking a tank at close range. The figure forms a pair with variant no. 1, and together they build a tense antitank scene. The package contains cast resin parts without paints or glue.
Close combat against tanks was among the most dangerous tasks of the infantry. Soldiers used adhesive charges, grenades and antitank rocket launchers for it and had to get within a short distance of an armored vehicle. The figure captures this theme dramatically and suits dioramas of the Eastern as well as the Western Front in the late phase of the war.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and try the fit. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), sand with respiratory protection and apply primer. Paint the field uniform in the appropriate Feldgrau shades or camouflage; bring out any antitank weapon with metallic accents and support the impression of combat with pigments and streaks of dirt.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a display base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
