A separate resin figure in 1:35 from the figure line of the maker PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but a figure meant for a finished model or for a diorama scene. It is supplied unpainted and before use it faces cleaning, separating from the casting block and painting.
Execution and pose. The clothing has a light tropical cut — a loose jacket and long trousers, that is a smoother and less broken-up surface than the winter variants offer. The pose matches the handling of ammunition, and the No. 2 marking means that this is a different bearing of the body than the figure No. 1 of the same subject has. Both poses are carried out so that they can be set side by side in one scene — one figure is passing the ammunition, the other is taking it over. It is exactly this continuity that makes the pair into a usable narrative scene at the rear of a vehicle or at an open hatch.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap, so that the mold release agent comes off the surface. Separate the casting block with a saw or a knife and sand the remainder down wet with your airways protected. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not work on resin. Before painting, check the mold seam lines — on figures they show up best on the arms and the sides of the torso.
Painting. Apply a thin primer, then the base shade of the uniform. Work the light on the edges of the folds and on the stretched areas of the cloth, and bring the shadow into the recesses with a glaze. With a pair of figures for one scene, mix the shades of the skin and the uniform from a single batch — a differing tone on two figures side by side is immediately visible on a finished diorama. A final matte coat knocks the gloss down and ties the figure in with the vehicle model in color.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
