A single-figure resin set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It represents a German grenadier of the Totenkopf division from the fighting for the Demyansk pocket on the Eastern Front. The figure is armed with a submachine gun and is intended for experienced modelers with an interest in winter combat scenes.
At the turn of 1942 and 1943 German units were encircled in the Demyansk pocket and fought stubborn defensive actions in the hard Russian winter. The soldiers wore winter kit and snow camouflage. Figure no. 2 forms the counterpart to the first grenadier from the same range, and together they make a telling scene.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and try the joints. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. For a winter scene a pale palette of acrylics works well, with gentle oil shading and a suggestion of snow and mud on the boots and the lower part of the clothing.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
