This is a detail accessory set, not a stand-alone model. It combines an exactly turned metal barrel for the 76.2 mm ZiS-5 gun with a faithfully cast resin mantlet for the lightened Soviet heavy tank KV-1S in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer is PANZER ART.
The KV-1S was a faster, lightened version of the KV-1 heavy tank with a smaller, reworked turret and the 76.2 mm ZiS-5 gun. The mantlet of this turret differs from that of the older KV-1s, so a faithful replacement noticeably refines the look of the KV-1S version in particular. The set reproduces this configuration.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry them. Give both the metal barrel and the resin a coat of primer and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory for an existing kit, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
