A set of cast road wheels for the British Dingo light scout car in 1:35 scale. The tread of the tires matches Firestone. On wheeled vehicles the tires are the largest single area on the underside of a model, and their pattern and shape give away at once how carefully the model was built.
The Dingo was a British light armored car intended for reconnaissance and liaison. It was small, low and very quiet, had all-wheel drive and a crew of two. Its task was not to fight but to get forward unnoticed, find out the situation and come back. That is exactly why so much care went into its low silhouette.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and cut the casting blocks off with a saw so that the cut falls in the contact area of the tire. Bond with super glue and check that all the wheels stand in the same plane and the vehicle does not rock. Paint the tires a dark gray, leave the crown lighter and apply a dark wash into the tread.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
