Metal ammunition containers for the 88 mm FlaK and KwK 36 guns, late pattern, 1:35 from PANZER ART. A resin set of twelve pieces for dioramas and for stowage on a hull.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of twelve metal transport containers for 88 mm rounds in 1:35 scale, made in the late shape. It is not a kit nor a part of a particular vehicle — they are separate castings meant as stowage on a hull, equipment at a firing position or a small prop in a diorama. The early pattern of the same container is offered by the manufacturer as a separate item, so choose when buying according to the period you are building.
The 88 mm rounds were carried in metal containers, which appeared at antiaircraft positions, with towed guns and with heavy tanks whose gun had the same caliber. The accessory is therefore usable across subjects: the containers can be stacked on a hull, lined up in a pile beside a gun, leaned against sandbags or left scattered around the crew. Twelve pieces make it possible to build a whole supply scene, not just an isolated detail.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap first, as otherwise the paint will not hold on remains of release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, level the surfaces with a file and fine abrasive paper — sand wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). After the primer, spray the base shade and set the individual pieces apart slightly, so that the row does not look like a single mold. Bring out the hinges, catches and handles with a dark wash, draw worn metal on the edges and dust the lower parts with pigment matching the ground of your scene.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
