A set of cast stowage for the American Willys light off-road car in 1:35 scale. It contains equipment, baggage and secured gear. On an open vehicle with no roof and no doors the stowage is visible from every angle, and an empty Jeep looks like a model from a showroom rather than a vehicle in the field.
The Willys was a small light off-road car that became one of the symbols of the war. It was built in enormous numbers and served for every purpose imaginable. The crews loaded jerrycans, ammunition boxes, engineer tools, tarpaulins, baggage and captured gear onto it; the load capacity of the car was limited, which stopped nobody.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and try the fit dry. Paint the stowage separately before you seat it. On such a small vehicle watch the quantity: an overloaded Jeep looks like a pile rather than a vehicle. Set the materials apart by surface and suggest the mounting with thin wire or a strip of foil.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
