This resin set from Armory replaces the main wheels of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter in 1:72 scale. The wheels have realistically flattened (weighted) tires with a linear (concentric) tread pattern and three-spoke hubs. It is a refining accessory, not a model.
The Spitfire used several types of wheel with different tire patterns and hub designs. This variant corresponds to the linear (ribbed) tread pattern and the three-spoke hub. Replacing the standard plastic wheels raises the fidelity of the landing gear and allows a particular variant of the aircraft to be placed more precisely.
Wash the mold release off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and level the surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer; tone the tires in a matte dark gray and set the hubs apart in a color to suit the scheme you have chosen.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. It is not a standalone model but a set of replacement wheels.
