An injection-molded plastic kit of the German StuG III Ausf.G assault gun of late production in 1:35 scale from the maker Border Model. The kit offers a full interior including the engine, the gun and the ammunition stowage, a metal gun barrel, photo-etched parts and hatches that can be built open or closed. The Sturmgeschütz III was one of the most numerously produced German armored vehicles of the Second World War. It came into being as an assault gun for infantry support on the chassis of the Panzer III tank, but from 1944 it was more and more often used against tanks. The Ausf.G version was the most widespread and carried a 75 mm gun in a low, well armored hull without a rotating turret.
Paint and assemble the full interior in parts before you close the hull — the engine, the gun and the ammunition stowage will come out well with the hatches open. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the metal gun barrel and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. After the paint has been sprayed on, emphasize the details with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments; pick out the interior with a fine dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
