The model is designed to be undemanding, the parts fit together and the assembly is simple, so it suits quick building, beginners and use in tabletop wargames. It can be assembled and painted without advanced tools.
The Matilda was a British infantry tank whose main asset was heavy armor. In the first half of the Second World War it resisted most anti-tank weapons of the day and became famous above all in the fighting in North Africa. It was slow, but as an infantry escort it filled its role reliably; it was nicknamed the Queen of the Desert.
Thanks to the small scale and the easy assembly the model is ideal for practicing the basics. Give the assembled parts a base coat, then the main shade, and bring out the edges and details with drybrushing or a wash. For gaming a quick paint job is enough, while a collector will appreciate a finer patina and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
