Responsibility details are not available.
This is a kit model of a structure of the Czechoslovak heavy fortification in 1:1000 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP o.s. The real subject is an infantry blockhouse with the code name Kazi, one of the structures of the Bouda artillery fort in the Orlicke Mountains. The model is small, yet faithful, and captures the characteristic shapes of the concrete structure.
The Bouda artillery fort was part of the border fortification built by Czechoslovakia in the years 1935 to 1938 for defense against Nazi Germany. The structures of the fort were linked by underground works and formed a powerful defensive whole. The Kazi blockhouse belonged to the combat structures of this complex; its massive reinforced concrete walls were meant to withstand artillery fire.
Separate the smaller parts carefully and finish the glued joints. The concrete of a fortification stands out well with a gray base, dark washes into the hollows and a fine dry brush on the edges. The greenery of the surroundings can be added with scenic scatter, so that the model stands out on a small plinth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
