The razor saw holder from MH models makes it possible to clamp a thin razor blade and cut with it accurately, firmly and safely.
Responsibility details are not available.
A holder intended for razor modeling saws. A thin blade on its own is hard to hold and bends under pressure; clamped in a holder it runs the cut straight and can be worked with a feel for the job even in a small space.
Cut with light strokes and without pressure - the blade should do the cutting, and force will only bend or break it. Start with a shallow notch that guides the track and only then lengthen the stroke. Always support the part as close as possible to the place of the cut, because otherwise the plastic frays in the cut. Run the saw away from your body and keep your other hand out of the path of the blade. Never use the holder as a lever sideways: the blade is thin and cracks under side loading. A razor saw is not intended for hard metals and hardened materials.
After work, wipe the plastic dust off the blade and off the clamping part, so that the teeth do not clog and the grip does not get worse. Before putting it away, check that it is tight, so that the blade does not come loose next time. Keep the tool dry - moisture is the commonest cause of corrosion on thin blades. The blade is a consumable: as soon as it stops biting and begins to slip in the cut, change it, because a blunt blade cuts inaccurately and with more force, and therefore with a greater risk of injury.
A sharp tool. Keep it out of the reach of children and protect your eyes while working.
