RS Models 1:72 Kawasaki Ki-60 is a short-run plastic kit of the Japanese experimental fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded short-run plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker RS Models. The model captures the Japanese experimental Kawasaki Ki-60 fighter. Short-run kits are finely rendered but call for a more careful approach when cleaning the parts up. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Kawasaki Ki-60 was a Japanese prototype fighter of the early 1940s powered by a liquid-cooled inverted V12, an unusual choice among Japanese machines of the time. It remained at the prototype stage and served as a source of experience for later development. It is precisely the unconventional powerplant and the early date that make it an interesting subject.
With a short-run mold, expect more careful clean-up, possible reinforcement of the joints and dry-fitting of the parts before gluing. Join them with a thin plastic cement. We recommend an airbrush, a primer and a gloss coat under the decals. Careful work on the panel lines is worthwhile.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
