Turnbuckles 7.1 mm are 3D printed resin turnbuckles from Firma49 for faithful rigging on aircraft models.
Responsibility details are not available.
These are 3D printed resin turnbuckles from Firma49, not a model in its own right. A single turnbuckle is 7.1 mm long. They will serve for a realistic rendering of the rigging and bracing typical of biplanes and older aircraft. The package holds a larger number of them.
Turnbuckles are the small connecting elements that in reality tensioned the steel cables between the wings and the fuselage. On a model they look faithful when they are used to finish off rigging run from stretched sprue, monofilament or wire.
Carefully separate the parts from the supports and clean them up; the resin can be softened briefly in hot water before cutting or drilling, so that it does not chip. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue and are easy to paint with ordinary modeling paints. Fine tools and good lighting are recommended.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and the cable are not included in the package.
