This is an aftermarket detail set from the Japanese brand Top Studio in 1:12 scale. It is not a model of the motorcycle but a working chain assembled link by link from photo-etched and turned metal parts. With it you replace the one-piece plastic chain on a model of the Honda RC213V racing motorcycle of the 2014 season in 1:12 scale.
The Honda RC213V is the Honda factory prototype for the premier class of the road racing world championship. The drive chain transmits the power of the engine to the rear wheel and on a model it is a well visible, attractive item. An assembled metal chain looks far more faithful than a plastic imitation.
Clean up the individual links and pins and join them with patience; glue the small metal parts with cyanoacrylate. Paint the finished chain after a primer has been applied, and a suitable metallic paint will bring out the metal sheen.
The detail set does not contain the model of the motorcycle itself. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
