Tamiya is renowned for the precise fit of its parts and faithful detail; the model contains a well-worked frame, engine and fairing and usually comes with a stand for display. The Suzuki GSX-RR was a prototype racing motorcycle of the MotoGP class powered by a liquid-cooled inline four of around 1000 cc. On the machine in its 2020 season finish, tuned to a blue and silver combination inspired by older GP motorcycles, the brand's rider took the MotoGP world title. The aerodynamic fairing with winglets is one of the characteristic features of modern machines.
Pick out the frame and the engine in different colors and assemble them according to the instructions; Tamiya parts usually fit without trouble. The fairing calls for a smooth gloss coat as a base under the sponsor decals, and once they are on, even the surface out with a gloss coat. Spray the blue and silver finish with an airbrush in thin coats and mask the transitions. Leave the chrome and polished parts until the end.
