A plastic kit of the Yamaha TZR250 sports motorcycle in the 2AW form, 1:12 scale. Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Yamaha TZR250 is a quarter-liter sports motorcycle from the second half of the 1980s, built around a two-stroke liquid-cooled twin. It is precisely the two-stroke 250s of that time that count as the sharpest machines of their class and have a lasting following among modelers. The 2AW designation in the bracket is a factory code for the form and distinguishes the individual releases within the TZR250 line.
This is a kit of plastic parts in 1:12 scale, that is in the size in which motorcycles are most often built and which allows even small details of the engine and the chassis to be worked out. The parts are separated from their sprues with sprue cutters and the remains of the gates are leveled with a file. The list of parts, the recommended shades and the form of the markings you will find in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Start with the frame and the engine, and only then add the fairing. Wash and degrease the fairing parts before finishing and apply the paint in thin coats. The chain, the brake discs and the exhausts will come into their own when you shade them with metallic tones and pick the edges out lightly. Finally stand the motorcycle on both wheels so that it sits upright and the track of the front wheel points along the axis of the machine.
The set is for builders of road motorcycles and for admirers of Japanese engineering of the 1980s who collect machines of the quarter-liter class. The package holds the kit parts; paints, glue and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
