Lichen Orange Moss from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is a scenic accessory for making bushes, undergrowth and overgrown areas in an orange shade.
Responsibility details are not available.
Moss and lichen are among the quickest ways to get bulky vegetation into a diorama. Unlike static grass, which makes a surface, this material makes mass: bushes, thickets, tree crowns and growth that spreads over walls and wrecks. The shade in the name is orange, so an autumn scene or a contrasting accent in a green setting suggests itself.
Do not cut the material with a knife but tear it carefully with your fingers, because a torn edge looks more natural than a cut. Smaller pieces work better in a scene than one large one, because a bush should be irregular. Anchor them with super glue or PVA glue depending on the surface; with heavier clumps it pays to push a thin wire into the base. You will add bulk and life by scattering fine foliage or flock onto the surface of a clump into sprayed glue. The shade can be subdued or sharpened with a light overspray of heavily thinned paint from a greater distance; spray briefly and rather in two passes, so that the fibers do not stick together.
For builders of dioramas and vignettes who need bulky vegetation and do not want to build it up from individual leaves. It can be used across a wide range of scales; the size of the piece torn off decides the final impression more than the scale of the scene.
A scenic accessory for making vegetation. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
