Colored 3D interior elements for the Dodge M37 truck in 1:35 scale, ready for the Roden kit. They are briefly soaked in water.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Dodge M37 is an American three-quarter-ton four-wheel-drive off-road truck, the postwar successor to the WC series. It served for decades as a dependable workhorse that carried troops and cargo where an ordinary vehicle could not go. Its cab is simple and openly accessible, so it can be seen into well on a model.
Colored 3D elements of the cab interior: the instrument panel, the panels, the controls and other surfaces. The print has real three-dimensional depth, so the dials and the lettering are not merely painted on a flat film.
The elements have no adhesive layer of their own. Cut the part out, leave it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the decal backing paper into place, just as with a decal. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as they would attack the printed resin. The surface must be clean, degreased and coated with gloss varnish, because the element holds worse on a rough matte finish; on an uneven spot a drop of cyanoacrylate helps. Press it down with a soft tool from the center outwards, so that the element does not ripple and the water escapes from underneath it.
For modelers who want the cab finished without writing out the instruments by hand, and for diorama builders who leave the cab doors open. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
