NF-5A 1:48 – color 3D interior (Quinta Studio)

The set brings 3D-printed, pre-colored cabin detail printed on decal paper. The instrument panel, the side consoles, the seat and the belts have real relief and go on like a decal, so the interior reads three-dimensionally without painting. The set is prepared for NF-5A models in 1:48 scale. The set is cut for the Kinetic kit.

The real subject

The NF-5A was the Dutch version of the Northrop F-5 light fighter operated by the Royal Netherlands Air Force. It grew out of the proven F-5 design with changes to suit the operator. The compact single-seat cockpit is a rewarding target for detailing.

How to use the set

• The elements are cut out and applied like a decal. Do not use a decal softener or fixer, as they would attack the printed resin of the element.
• Painting the instruments is no longer needed; the colors are finished.
• The 3D relief brings out the dials, the switches and the belts.
• Apply it before closing the cabin and fitting the canopy.
