Quinta Studio 1:48 A-10C is a set of a colored interior printed on decal paper. It is applied over a gloss base and replaces the flat parts of the kit in the cockpit.

This is neither a kit nor a resin accessory, but a set of decals for an interior in 1:48 scale. The color is printed from manufacture, so the laborious painting of small instruments and lettering with a brush is no longer needed. The modeler applies the set directly onto the cockpit parts from their own kit, much like ordinary decals, only with more emphasis on preparing the base.
With this type of decal, half of the result is settled before you even touch them. The base has to be smooth, free of the flash left after cutting from the frame and without residues of mold release agent. Let the paint in the cockpit cure properly and only then brush a gloss varnish over it. The gloss is not cosmetics but a function: on a matte, microscopically rough surface, air is trapped under the decal and a white haze appears, which is commonly called silvering. On a glossy area the decal seats over its whole surface and the joint is practically invisible.
Work element by element, never in whole strips at once. Release the decal after about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water, transfer it into place with a damp brush, fine-tune the position before it starts to grip and blot the excess water with a soft cloth or a cotton swab laid against it from the side. Pressing from above does not pay. Do not bring in a decal softener or a decal fixer at all — the manufacturer forbids them on this range, their chemicals attack the printed resin and ruin the element. Once dry, unify the whole cockpit with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, so that the difference in gloss disappears.
