Injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale containing the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-61-Id Hien and the light Type 95 Kurogane vehicle from Tamiya.
Responsibility details are not available.
A combined set from Tamiya in 1:48 scale bringing together two models: the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-61-Id Hien (Allied code name Tony) and the light off-road vehicle of the Japanese army, the Type 95 Kurogane. Both models come from quality Tamiya tooling, go together easily and bring decals and figures.
The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien was the only Japanese fighter of the Second World War with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, which gave it a slender silhouette resembling European fighters. The Ki-61-Id version had a lengthened nose and heavier armament. The Type 95 Kurogane was one of the first light all-wheel-drive off-road vehicles developed for the Japanese army.
On the aircraft pay attention to the details of the V12 engine and to the cockpit, which you should finish before the fuselage is closed up; mask the glazing. On the vehicle finish the chassis and the interior before the body. Glue both models with thin cement for plastic; the metal surfaces of the Hien can be treated with metallic paint and the vehicle completed with dust weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
