The German Armoured Cruiser SMS Blücher is a printed publication from the Kagero publishing house on a German armored cruiser. It is not a kit and not an accessory but a book to read.
Responsibility details are not available.
A naval book title from the Kagero publishing house devoted to the cruiser SMS Blücher. It is literature, so it is not bought for the sake of the build — it is reading on a subject that a modeler works through before starting on the model.
On the real subject
SMS Blücher was the last armored cruiser of the Imperial German Navy. She came about at a time when an entirely new kind of large fast ship was being born in Britain, and her design was therefore left halfway: she was markedly bigger and stronger than the older armored cruisers, but she could not match the new British ships. It is precisely this transitional position that makes her a technically absorbing subject — in a sense the last ship of one line of development. Her service was short; she was lost early in 1915 in the North Sea.
For modelers of ships of the early twentieth century, for readers interested in the development of large surface vessels and for collectors of naval literature. The text is specialist, technical and factual.
A publication, not a kit — hence no scale and no package contents. Check the extent, the language and the year of publication in the imprint of the book.
