Wheels of the B-36 Peacemaker bomber in 1:144 scale are a resin set with weighted tires. It replaces the wheels from the kit; it is not an airplane model.

A resin wheel set from the Ukrainian brand Armory, the manufacturer's part number ARAW14301. It is an accessory for a model, not an airplane kit. The tires are cast with a slight flattening at the contact patch, so the model does not stand on its wheels as if on circles and looks loaded; on machines the size of the B-36 that is a difference you can see even in this small scale. Resin holds a sharper tread and sidewall lettering than injection-molded plastic and, unlike vinyl tires, it will not slip off the hub after years.
The Convair B-36 Peacemaker was a strategic bomber of the US Air Force with the greatest wingspan of any combat aircraft. It was powered by six Pratt and Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major radial engines in a pusher arrangement, and from the B-36D version four General Electric J47 turbojets in two nacelles under the wing were added, ten powerplants in all. 384 were built, the machine entered service in 1948 and was withdrawn in February 1959. The main landing gear went through development from a single huge wheel on each side to a bogie with four wheels, which allowed operation from ordinary airfields.
Wash the castings in warm water with detergent and cut the casting blocks off with a saw; protect your breathing when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and always apply a primer coat. Do not mix the tires toward black, because a dark gray with a fine dust pigment in the tread looks the most convincing in 1:144.
