B-52H Stratofortress - double-sided masks 1:144 (Art Scale)

A double-sided set of masking templates from Art Scale for a model of the American Boeing B-52H Stratofortress strategic bomber in 1:144 scale. The double-sided version contains masks for the outside and the inside of the glazing, so the frames stay clean on both sides. The set usually covers the small landing gear wheels as well, which are hard to mask by hand at this scale. The cut is calculated for the Great Wall Hobby kit.

The real subject

The Boeing B-52H is the last production version of the eight-engine strategic bomber of the US Air Force. Among other things it differs from the earlier aircraft in having turbofan engines, and it remains in active service to this day.

Use

• apply the masks to the glazing and the wheels according to the diagram
• press the edges down to keep the paint from seeping under them
• spray the paint and peel the masks off once it has dried
• suitable for both an airbrush and a spray can
