An injection-molded plastic kit of the four-engined Boeing 720 jet airliner in 1:144 scale from Roden, in the version with the Starship One color scheme. In the popular aviation scale of 1:144 the model offers the elegant shape of an early jet airliner.
The Boeing 720 was a shortened and lightened variant of the successful Boeing 707, intended for shorter routes. The machine in the Starship One colors was used in the 1970s as a privately chartered aircraft for carrying music groups and their entourage on tour, and so it wrote itself into the history of popular music.
Glue the fuselage halves and the engine nacelles with a thin plastic cement, then fill the joints and sand them smooth. We recommend a base coat, and for the polished silver areas a metallic paint or a polishing system. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat, and a final clear coat will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
