The P-8A Poseidon is an American maritime patrol aircraft meant for fighting submarines and surface targets and for maritime reconnaissance. It is based on the proven Boeing 737 airframe and in US Navy service it replaced the older turboprop P-3 Orion. It carries torpedoes, guided missiles and sonobuoys for locating submarines; thanks to its jet engines it has a higher speed and range than its predecessor.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, and line up and sand the long fuselage and wing joints carefully. Glue the extensive cockpit glazing carefully with cement for clear parts. Apply primer before painting and cover with an airbrush - the large smooth areas of the fuselage benefit from an even coat. Naval aircraft carry gray camouflage with a lighter underside; after the gloss clear coat and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
