Bristol Beaufighter Mk.X/Mk.XI/DAP Mk.21 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the British and Australian twin-engine machine in 1:144 scale from Mark I, with a choice of several variants.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Czech manufacturer Mark I captures the late versions of the twin-engine Bristol Beaufighter — the Mk.X, the Mk.XI and the Australian DAP Mk.21. The package allows one of these variants to be built; the exact contents, the number of parts and the markings offered are not stated here.
The Bristol Beaufighter Mk.X was one of the most numerous versions and became famous as an attack and anti-shipping aircraft carrying torpedoes and rockets. The Australian DAP Mk.21 was built by the Department of Aircraft Production and fielded in the Pacific area. The machines were powered by Bristol Hercules engines.
Before building, check which parts and markings to use for the variant you have chosen. Separate the tiny parts carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; a primer and an airbrush will support a smooth result. The camouflage schemes come out best once a gloss clear coat has been applied under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
