A resin detail set of the Quickboost brand with a pitot tube for a model of the IAI Kfir fighter in the C2 and C7 versions in 1:48 scale. The thin casting has a crisper and more accurate shape than the plastic part and stands up to damage better than fine plastic probes. This is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model.
The IAI Kfir was an Israeli supersonic fighter derived from the Mirage design and powered by a different engine. The C2 and C7 versions differed in their equipment and in changes to the airframe. The pitot tube on the nose is a small but prominent feature of the aircraft.
Separate the part carefully from the casting block, bond it with cyanoacrylate glue and blend its color with the nose. Use respiratory protection while sanding.
The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
