A precisely turned metal (brass) nose probe (the Alfa probe, an angle-of-attack probe) from the Polish manufacturer MASTER for miniature models of the American carrier-based Grumman F-14 Tomcat fighter in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit and not a model of the aircraft — it is a detail accessory that in this small scale replaces an all but unmakeable plastic part with a fine metal sensor. It is precisely in the small 1:144 scale that a metal part brings the greatest refinement, which plastic cannot allow.

Use

• Cut the original plastic probe off the nose of the model, if there is one
• Drill a small hole for the pin of the metal part
• Glue the probe in with cyanoacrylate
• Paint the part together with the model

Who it is for

For modelers who build the F-14 Tomcat in the small 1:144 scale and want a faithful and durable sensor even on a miniature nose. The metal part is thinner and stronger than anything in plastic at this scale.

The accessory does not include the model or glue. We recommend cyanoacrylate glue. Guard this very small part carefully against loss.
