An accessory set of replacement barrels for the Heinkel He 162A plastic kit from Brengun in 1:144 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Heinkel He 162A is among the last German aircraft of the Second World War. It came out of an emergency program that called for a simple fighter that could be built quickly, which is why it has a mixed structure with a large proportion of wood. The silhouette is unmistakable: the jet engine sits on top of the fuselage spine, the tail carries a pair of endplate fins and the cockpit sits far forward. In 1:144 scale a finished model fits in the palm of your hand, so the overall impression is decided by the cleanliness of the smallest shapes.
It is an accessory to the He 162A plastic kit from Brengun, as the designation of the item itself states. The contents are replacement barrels. Replacement barrels are bought where an injected part in a small scale comes out thicker and coarser than the real thing and where the muzzle can only be suggested. The scope of the set, the number of parts and their exact placement are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic kits has no effect on them; use super glue and apply it in a minute amount. Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully so that the shape of the part itself is not started into. Wash and degrease the surface before painting and apply the primer in a thin coat. In 1:144 scale work over a light surface and with fine tweezers, as a part that pings away is otherwise hard to find.
The aircraft kit, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
