Resin LEAP-1B engines for the Boeing 737 MAX (1:144) replace the kit nacelles of the latest generation of the narrow-body airliner with faithful resin castings. The package contains two engines.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of an airplane but a resin detail set from the maker LACI in 1:144 scale. The castings capture the latest generation CFM LEAP-1B engines that power Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. The package contains two engines with the characteristic larger nacelle and the serrated (chevron) rim of the exhaust nozzle, which tells the LEAP apart from older powerplants.
The LEAP-1B is a modern high-bypass engine developed specifically for the Boeing 737 MAX series. Compared with its predecessors it has a markedly larger fan diameter, and therefore also a bulkier nacelle and a slightly modified mounting under the wing.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean up the surfaces. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; mask the serrated rim of the nozzle with care.
The model of the airplane, glue and paints are not included in the package. It is supplied as a resin set for more experienced modelers.
