An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from Korean manufacturer Academy. The real subject is the American twin-engine medium bomber Martin B-26B Marauder from the Second World War. The small but detailed 1:144 scale is ideal for a display case and for collectors building series of aircraft. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was a fast, tough American medium bomber. Its high wing loading made it fly fast, which initially earned it a reputation as a demanding aircraft to fly, but it ended up among the bombers with very low combat losses. It was powered by a pair of Pratt and Whitney radial engines and was deployed mainly in the European and Mediterranean theaters.
In 1:144 scale, pay attention to clean work on the small parts and fuselage joints. Use thin cement and a small amount of putty. Apply a primer to the surface, spray natural metal or camouflage with an airbrush, and highlight the fine panel lines with a light wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
