This is a turned metal detail accessory, a precise pitot tube for a model of the Russian two-seat Su-34 fighter-bomber (nicknamed the Strike Flanker) in 1:144 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a fine replacement part which replaces the coarser plastic component and increases the realism of the finished model. The manufacturer is MASTER, a specialist in turned metal probes and barrels.
The pitot tube is an airspeed sensor placed on the nose of the aircraft. The turned metal version is thinner, more precise and more resistant to bending than plastic. The part is intended for fitting to a model of the Su-34 fighter-bomber.
Clean and degrease the metal part, then glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) into a pre-drilled hole in the nose. Clean up the transition and spray it over with the base color to blend the colors. Given the small dimensions, work with tweezers.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
