Metal pitots for the Vickers Valiant 1:144

A set of turned metal pitot tubes for a model of the British strategic bomber Vickers Valiant in 1:144 scale. The parts replace the plastic moldings of the kit with more accurate metal replacements.

The metal version machined on a lathe holds the straight shape and the fine detail that thin plastic tubes often lack. You cut off the original plastic parts and glue the metal pitots in their place, best with cyanoacrylate.
