Yak-40 high-lift (landing) flaps 1:144 is a resin detail set that makes it possible to show extended flaps on a model of this Soviet jet aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set of high-lift flaps for plastic models of the Yakovlev Yak-40 airliner in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit of the airplane but an accessory that replaces the simplified parts of the trailing edge of the wing and allows you to build the model with realistically extended flaps.
The Yakovlev Yak-40 was a Soviet three-engine regional jet of the late 1960s, powered by three engines in the rear fuselage. It served with a number of carriers as well as military and government operators and became one of the first small jet machines for short routes and airports with short runways.
First wash the parts free of the residue of the mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Extended flaps reveal the inner surfaces of the wing, which are worth repainting and picking out gently with shading.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
