This set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Brassica brings markings for the DANA wheeled self-propelled howitzer in Czechoslovak, Czech and Slovak service. It is not a kit but an accessory for marking a finished model of this vehicle.
The DANA is a 152 mm wheeled self-propelled gun-howitzer built on the Tatra 815 chassis. It was developed in Czechoslovakia and served with the Czechoslovak army from the 1980s; after the country split, the armies of the Czech Republic and Slovakia went on operating it. It is one of the few series-built wheeled self-propelled howitzers of its day.
Apply the decals over smooth, glossy, clean paint, so that they do not silver. Soak the motif briefly, slide it into place, blot the surplus water away and press it down. Given the broken-up surfaces of military equipment, a decal softener helps, as does a final matte overcoat that blends the decal into the rest of the model.
The package contains decals only; the model, paints and glue are not part of it.
