3D Puzzle Neuschwanstein Castle (LED Edition) from Revell: a three-dimensional puzzle of the Bavarian castle; the designation in the name refers to the version with lighting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A three-dimensional puzzle of the most famous Bavarian castle from the brand Revell. It is not a classic plastic model: the parts already have their finished shape and surface and join by snapping together, so the build is clean and needs no tools. The LED Edition designation in the name refers to the form with lighting, thanks to which the model comes into its own after dark too and acts as a lit decoration.
Neuschwanstein Castle stands on a rocky spur above the village of Hohenschwangau in southwestern Bavaria. Construction was begun in 1869 by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, who drew on a romantic idea of a medieval castle rather than on real defensive architecture, hence the slender towers, the richly divided facades and the dramatic position above the valley. The castle remained unfinished, yet it became one of the most visited monuments in Germany and the model for fairy-tale castles in popular culture.
Work on a flat surface and proceed from the bottom up: the rocky base and the main building first, then the towers and the small annexes. Push the parts in square and press them fully home. With the lit version, think out in advance where the lighting will run, so that you have access to it once it is assembled and do not have to take the finished model apart. Place the model where you can comfortably reach it.
The puzzle is supplied unassembled. The parts fit together by snapping, so you need no tools or other modeling supplies for the build.
