A resin, 3D-printed accessory depicting the folded canvas windshield cover of the kind used on the Jeep Willys light off-road vehicle in the Second World War. This is not a kit of the vehicle but a single-piece add-on detail that gives a model a field look.
The cover is fitted over the folded-down windshield and faithfully imitates the gathering and the buckles of taut canvas. In the large 1:16 scale the texture of the material therefore stands out, which a plastic part from the base kit does not usually offer.
Wash the uncured print resin off the part, separate it from the print support and sand it lightly with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a faithful canvas effect we recommend a matte color and a light dry brush to bring out the folds.
Supplied as an unpainted resin part; the model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the package.
