Gecko Models 1:16 German 7.5 cm Pak 40 Anti-Tank Gun (Early Production) is a large-scale plastic kit of the German anti-tank gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit in the large 1:16 scale captures the German 7.5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun in the early production version. The model is injection-molded in plastic and is usually complemented by etched parts, decals and a metal gun barrel, which allows a very detailed result. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The 7.5 cm Pak 40 was the standard anti-tank gun of the German army from 1942 and one of the most effective guns of its time. It could pierce the frontal armor of most Allied tanks at a considerable distance and it was deployed on every front. Early production differed in the details of the carriage and the shield.
The large scale rewards careful cleaning up of the parts and attentive assembly of the carriage and the sights. The metal gun barrel and the etched parts add to the realism; glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The foundation is primer and an airbrush, and the weathering is provided by washes and pigments in the recesses and on the lower part of the gun.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
