Firma49 PPSh-41 Shpagin 1:16 is a resin, 3D-printed set of miniature replicas of the legendary Soviet submachine gun for figures and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin, 3D-printed set of miniature weapons in the large 1:16 scale from the Czech maker Firma49. It is not a vehicle kit and not a figure, but an accessory meant to bring a scene to life and to superdetail figures. The parts are printed in high resolution with the shapes of the stock, the magazine and the barrel jacket faithfully captured.
The PPSh-41 was a Soviet submachine gun of the Second World War period, designed by Georgy Shpagin as a simple, cheaply made weapon for the mass use of the Red Army. It fired the 7.62x25 mm Tokarev cartridge, was loaded with a drum or a curved box magazine and became one of the most widespread infantry symbols of the Eastern Front.
Resin can be sanded, drilled and cut in the ordinary way. Before taking the supports off we recommend dipping the parts in hot water; the material then softens slightly and does not chip. Clean the set of uncured resin residue, glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and lay down a primer before painting. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set holds resin accessories, not paints, glue or figures, unless stated otherwise.
