An etched instrument panel in 1:72 scale for a model of the Hawker Sea Hurricane Mk.IIC aircraft from the kit by the brand Airfix. It replaces the coarser part from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sea Hurricane was the naval version of the Hawker Hurricane fighter, adapted for service on the decks of ships. The Mk.IIC version carried an armament consisting of 20 mm cannon. The cockpit of these machines was cramped and the instrument panel takes up a large part of the view in it, so it is precisely the panel that catches the eye first through an open canopy.
Etched parts of the instrument panel in 1:72 scale intended for the kit by the brand Airfix. The etched sheet is an order of magnitude thinner than the part from an ordinary kit, so the instruments come across as finer and the instrument panel keeps the correct thickness even once it is painted. The extent of the set and the assembly procedure are given by the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not by twisting, otherwise the sheet will bend where it is supposed to stay straight. Make the folds over a straight edge and hold small pieces with tweezers, because they are easily lost. Use super glue for gluing; glue for plastic models will not work here. Before painting, wash the surface, degrease it and apply a primer, otherwise the paint will not hold on the edges. Fit the instrument panel into the fuselage before the halves are glued together, as once it is assembled you cannot reach it.
The model, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
