A photo-etched detail accessory from the manufacturer MH models (formerly Modell-Hobby) for models of the BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1 in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a replacement for the instrument panel. The set contains etched metal parts and a transparent film with printed dials, which is inserted behind the etched metal. The resulting panel is three-dimensional and legible, which a flat plastic part does not allow.

The real subject

The BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1 was a British carrier-based fighter and reconnaissance aircraft with vertical take-off and landing. It became famous for operating from the light aircraft carriers of the Royal Navy during the Falklands conflict in 1982. Its modern cockpit has a richly divided instrument panel.

Fitting and painting
